If you follow my premium investment service Secret Stock Files, then you know I’ve been riding eVTOL stocks to profits for the past year.
Of course, if this is the first time you’re hearing about either of those things, then it’s time to catch up.
First, what are eVTOLs?
They’re electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft.
And they’re set to revolutionize air travel in at least two key ways.
First, they’re simply going to replace traditional helicopters which are loud, and — depending on their size — burn anywhere from 5–400 gallons of gasoline per hour.
Conversely, eVTOLs are quiet. They run as silently as an electric car, and they don’t burn any gas.
That makes them perfect for cities, as they reduce both noise pollution and more CO2.
It also makes them much better options for U.S. special forces. Especially since the absence of a combustion engine reduces their heat signature, making them more difficult to target even when they are detected.
That’s actually how they first got on my radar.
A friend of mine at Edwards Air Force Base in California told me all about it last year.
He said his company was using a remote-controlled aircraft to ferry troops and supplies around the 470-square-mile base.
These military aspects have been key to eVTOL development, as the Pentagon has been a major early partner in developing the technology and awarding contracts.
However, the real breakthrough is poised to come in the commercial sector.
It hasn’t quite happened yet, but we’re poised to see more and more of these craft carrying people around the country — especially between airports and major cities.
Pilot programs are already underway in global metropolises like New York and Abu Dhabi.

Flying at speeds of 200 mph, eVTOLs can completely avoid traffic and gridlock, cutting a two-hour trip down to as little as 20 minutes.
And in addition to being quiet and clean, they’re also convenient. You can even order one up right through the Uber app. (It’s what I’ve been calling “Uber Air.”)
It’s no surprise, then, that President Trump is fully behind this upstart industry. In fact, he’s doing everything to ensure America takes the lead in its development and implementation.
Back in June, Trump issued an executive order that directed the FAA to expand domestic drone and eVTOL operations.
In accordance with that mandate, the Department of Transportation last week announced a pilot program to accelerate the use of eVTOLs.
The program allows both unmanned and piloted aircraft to be tested before they complete FAA certification — a process that can take years.
"The next great technological revolution in aviation is here," Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy said in a statement. "The United States will lead the way, and doing so will cement America's status as a global leader in transportation innovation. That means more high-paying manufacturing jobs and economic opportunity."
Obviously, this is a huge boon for the eVTOL stocks I’ve recommended.
They’ve surged by double digits on the news, but there’s still plenty more to come.
